Here is what I used:

- pretzel rods
- vanilla wafers
Sometimes I also add in chocolate bars broken into small pieces. White chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolateโ they are all wonderful dipped in a s'mores cookie dough dip! Feel free to use any of your other favorite snacks, too.
This snack board should be easy to make, since you don't have to chop, slice, or wash anything like in traditional fruit, veggie, and meat boards.
If you need to purchase a charcuterie board, you can find endless options online and in stores. This board onย Amazon is one of my favorite circular boards. I love that it has handles for easy carrying.
If you'd like a rectangular snack board,ย this one here is a great option. But you can also use a large wooden cutting board if you don't have time to go shopping or if you're on a really tight budget.
Putting The Board Together
First, make the dip.
- With an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugars until well combined. Add vanilla extract, heavy cream, caramel, and salt and mix until smooth. Add flour and mix until smooth. Add marshmallows and chocolate chips and mix on low speed until incorporated, about 30 seconds.
Second, put together the board.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and center it on a platter board. Arrange the snacks around the dip and serve.
Snack Board Tips
Keep these things in mind when making a s'mores board.
How hot will it be? Be cautious about chocolate on your board if you are placing it outside and you live in a seasonably hot location.
Kids with allergies. Kid-friendly snack boards should be free of nuts in case of any allergies.
The ages of the kids.ย Watch out for choking hazards when making a s'mores snack boards. Depending on their ages, you may need to offer soft dipping snacks. I love vanilla wafers, teddy grahams, and graham crackers on my kid-friendly snack boards because they are pretty soft, or at least crumble easily, when bitten. Pretzels are great too, but opt for the thinner style pretzels for younger kids.
