Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1, ten-ounce bag of large marshmallows
  • 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 20 chopped Oreos

Tips from the Chef

  • Do not refrigerate or freeze to speed up setting. This can make the treats hard instead of soft and gooey.
  • Grease the pan generously or use parchment paper for easy removal and cleanup.
  • Lightly butter your spoon or hands to prevent sticking when smoothing the mixture.

Recipe FAQs

Can I Use Different Flavored Oreos?

Absolutely! Golden Oreos, mint Oreos, or seasonal flavors all work great in this recipe.

How Do I Cut The Oreos Small Enough Without Making Crumbs?

Cut each Oreo into 8 pieces, like slicing a pie. Some crumbling is normal and helps distribute the flavor throughout the treats.
