Easter is a time for lots of sweet treats, spring desserts, and time with family. End your Easter dinner with this tray full of springtime candy and traditional Easter sweetsโ the kids will thank you!
Making grazing boards for holidays is an easy way to add a little fun to the day's menu, especially when they are charcuterie boards full of candy! An Easter candy charcuterie board is not hard to make. It's takes about 15 minutes, or however long it takes you to arrange the goodies. There is no cooking and no baking (unless you want to!), just lots of sweet treats unpackage.
While this board is meant for kids, adults will enjoy it to. Just add some macarons and Cadbury caramel eggs and everyone will be enjoying a much-deserved sugar rush. You can see aย detailed tutorial on how to easily make kid-friendly charcuterie boards here.
We love fun Easter desserts and treats along with our board. Bunny paw shaped sugar cookies, chocolate covered strawberry carrots and Easter egg hunt pudding cups are our favorites.
What You'll Need
You can make your candy charcuterie board with any of your favorite Easter treats. Here is what I use:
- Candy bird nests (I found these at Lidl)
- Peep chicks
- Peep bunnies
- Traditional jelly beans
- Starburst sour jelly beans
- Spring colored hershey kisses
- Macarons (I find these at in the frozen dessert section)
- Easter chocolate coins
- Chocolate mini eggs
- Spring cookies
- Mini Easter cheesecakes (that I had already made as a separate dessert)
How To Make It
The best way to make a charcuterie board is to arrange bowls, plates, and cups first, on opposite locations. Then add the bigger items, followed by candies or treats that need special arranging. Then add fill-in candies, or treats that you can drop onto the board in handfuls.
Here are the steps I take to make this Easter candy charcuterie board in just about 15 minutes.
- Arrange the bowls on opposite corners and fill them with small loose candies. I chose 2 types of jelly beans and chocolate eggs.
- Then place the larger items. In this case those are the candy bird's nests, cookies, macarons and peeps. Add a chick and eggs to the bird's nests. I also added a fewย mini Easter cheesecakes, because I was already serving those as a separate dessert and putting a few on the board added to it's cuteness!
- Fill in the gaps with smaller treats. These include more peeps, more chocolate eggs, chocolate coins, and hershey kisses.
Then serve and enjoy!
What To Buy For A Charcuterie Board
To make any charcuterie board you'll need the following:
- Charcuterie board: any size or shape depending on the occasion and your preference
- Small bowls: I get mine from Target, Home Goods or Amazon
- Bunny or egg shaped bowls to add to the theme
If you don't have a charcuterie board, a large cutting board or serving plate will do just fine!

What a cute idea! We are going to have the kids help put this together on Easter afternoon so they will have a fun activity and it will also serve as our dessert after Easter dinner!
