This delicious Cheesecake Milkshake is made with ice cream, cheesecake and milk. It can be made with leftover cheesecake or store bought slices of your favorite variety. This recipe can be made in a traditional blender or a milkshake maker, like the Ninja CREAMi Deluxe (which we have and love!).

While the base recipe is for a plain, vanilla-style cheesecake milkshake, don't be afraid to tweak the recipe. Create a cookies and cream milkshake by using Oreo cheesecake or even Oreo brownies, a strawberry cheesecake milkshake and any other flavor you love. Even use a mint chocolate cheesecake to make minty milkshakes in the winter and pumpkin cheesecake to make pumpkin milkshakes during the fall.

Make sure to try out our peanut butter protein shake, strawberry mango smoothie and mango milkshake next!

Why You'll Love Cheesecake Milkshakes

  • We always have so much cheesecake leftover and it often goes to waste, but not when we use extra slices to make creamy milkshakes!
  • You can use any flavor cheesecake to make your favorite type of milkshake.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups vanilla bean ice cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 slices of cheesecake
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe yield: about 4 eight ounce milkshakes or 2 large milkshakes.

How To Make Cheesecake Milkshakes

  1.  Add all of the ingredients to your blender.
  2. Blend for about 30 seconds un medium speed, or until it reaches your desired consistency.
  3. Pour into milkshake glasses. Add whipped cream, graham crackers, strawberries or cherries and enjoy.

Best Milkshake Toppings

Whipped cream always goes well with milkshakes, as well as sprinkles, maraschino cherries or small berries like raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. Chocolate candy pieces like m&m's and Reese's pieces are great too. You could add chocolate, strawberry or caramel sauce on top to make the ultimate cheesecake milkshake recipe!

Tips from the Chef

Milkshakes are best enjoyed immediately. If you have extra and want to drink it later but it becomes too runny, add a little more ice cream and blend again for about 5-10 seconds.

Recipe FAQs

How To Make Cheesecake Milkshakes Thicker

To make a milkshake thicker add more ice cream or use less milk. If it's already been blended, add more ice cream about ¼ cup at a time and blend again for a few seconds. Keep doing this until the thickness is to your liking. You can also add another ½ slice of cheesecake and ⅛ cup of ice cream.

Can I Use A Milkshake Maker?

Yes, absolutely use a milkshake machine if you own one.

Can I Make Cheesecake Milkshakes Dairy Free?

Yes. Make your milkshake dairy free by using dairy-free ice cream, plant-based milk and a dairy-free cheesecake.
