Meatball Toast is a quick and easy comforting lunch, dinner or appetizer full of melted cheese and hearty Italian meatballs. Meatball toast is an ideal way to use up leftover meatballs from last night's spaghetti and meatball dinner.
Toast the sandwich bread to desired doneness. Remove from the toaster.
Spread each toasted bread slice with marinara sauce, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and top with sliced meatballs.
Toast or broil until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
Notes
Storing: Wrap in foil and store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Meatball toast can be frozen for up to 6 months.Reheating: Reheat in the toaster, oven or air fryer until warmed through.Tip: Toast the bread before adding the toppings, then toast or broil again to melt the cheese. This will make the bread crispy rather than soggy.
