Air frying frozen onion rings is such a quick and easy way to cook onion rings to a crispy, golden brown perfection. They make a delicious snack, appetizer or side along with a burger or hot dog. From start to finish, you'll have frozen onion rings air fried and ready to eat in less than 10 minutes.
Preheat the air fryer to 380℉/194℃. If your air fryer does not require preheating, skip this step.
Brush the air fryer basket or tray with a small amount of pure oil. Working in batches, place the frozen onion rings in a single layer in the air fryer with space between so they do not touch.
Air fry for 8-10 minutes, until onion rings are golden brown and the internal temperature has reached 165℉.
Using tongs, remove the cooked onion rings from the air fryer. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such ketchup, marinara sauce or mayonnaise.

*Nutritional information varies based on brand of onion rings.Storing: leftover onion rings can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. They can be reheated in the air fryer. Once cooked, they should not be refrozen. Tip 1: give them a little extra kick by sprinkling on some french fry seasoning or salt, pepper garlic seasoning. Tip 2: Always cook in an even single layer to allow the hot air to circulate and crisp up all sides of the onion rings. If they are stacked they will not cook evenly.
