This easy Chicken Tenders Parmesan and Pasta recipe is hands down one of the quickest kid-friendly dinners you'll come across. This delicious dinner requires only 5 ingredients, is ready to serve in less than 20 minutes and has virtually no preparation!
12breaded chicken tender strips, frozen and fully cooked
4 ¼cupsmarinara sauce
1 ½cupsshredded mozzarella cheese
⅓cupgrated parmesan cheese
16ozpasta , optional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish. Place the frozen chicken tenders directly on top of the sauce. Pour extra marinara sauce over the chicken, then generously sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan on top.
Bake for about 15 minutes uncovered or until the chicken reaches 165°F and the cheese has melted and starts to bubble.
While then chicken bakes, cook your favorite pasta according to package directions. Toss with extra sauce and serve alongside your cheesy Parmesan chicken.
Notes
Chicken: Any type of fully cooked, breaded frozen chicken works great for this recipe. Frozen chicken nuggets, chicken patties, tenderloins, crispy chicken strips, etc. can be used to make this easy chicken tenders parmesan. Storing: Store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
