Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Without separating them, place the Hawaiian sweet rolls on a parchment lined or greased baking sheet. Slice the buns in half and set the tops aside.
  • Layer the rolls with equal amounts of sauce, then shredded mozzarella cheese, then pepperoni slices and a little more shredded cheese. Cover with the top half of the rolls.
  • Combine the melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and parmesan cheese in a small mixing bowl. Brush sauce on the top of the rolls.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and sliders are golden brown and slightly crisp.
  • Air Fryer Instructions: Follow the instructions above for assembling the sliders, but only assemble as many sliders as can fit in your air fryer at one time. Place sliders directly on the basket or tray. Set the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and air fry for 5-8 minutes, until the tops of the buns are golden brown and cheese has melted.

Notes

TIP 1: Have the kids choose their own toppings and make their own personal sliders. For picky kids, cheese and sauce might be the best option.
TIP 2: For extra cheesy sliders, sprinkle some shredded cheese on top of the buns during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
STORING: Store in the fridge for up to 3 days wrapped in foil or in an airtight container. They can be frozen for up to 6 months.
