Apple Nachos are a healthy after school snack idea that will fill your kids' hungry tummies and satisfy their sweet tooth! Kids can make this awesome little snack all by themselves with their favorite toppings in addition to caramel, chocolate, and chocolate chips.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 apples
  • ¼-1/2 cup caramel syrup
  • ¼-1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • ½ cup chocolate chips, white, milk, or dark

Instructions
 

  • Slice the apples and arrange them on a plate.
  • Drizzle the apples with caramel and chocolate syrup. If you're using jarred sauce that's thicker than the squeeze bottle kind, warm it up in the microwave for about 30 seconds. 
  • Top with the chocolate chips and enjoy!

Notes

Make apple nachos more nutritious by adding peanut butter, walnuts, almonds, pecans, granola, dried cranberries, or raisins.
