Mango Strawberry Banana smoothies are one of our favorite breakfast or lunches. They are a great way for cleaning out the fridge of fresh fruit before it goes bad or putting inexpensive frozen fruit to good use. Fruit smoothies are healthy and a great way to get your family to eat their fruits without complaint.
1 cupmango, fresh, peeled and cubed (see notes for frozen)
1 cup strawberry, fresh, hulled (see notes for frozen)
1banana, peeled
Instructions
Add all ingredients to the blender in the order your blender suggests.
Blend on high speed for 60-90 seconds, or until fruit has been completely blended and is smooth. If using an Instant Ace Blender, choose the "smoothie" option. This will take 90 seconds.
Pour into glasses and serve, with garnish if desired.
Notes
*If using frozen fruit, use ¼ cup more liquid.Make it thinner: use a little more liquid.Make it thicker: use a little less liquid or more fruit. A tablespoon of chia seeds will also thicken it a bit. Use Greek yogurt instead of regular.More strawberry flavor: add ½ cup more strawberries and ½ cup less mango.More mango flavor: add ½ cup more mango and ½ cup less strawberries.Non-dairy: use coconut water and dairy-free yogurt.
