Tortilla Pizzas

Whether for lunch or dinner, your family will love tortilla pizzas! Although made with just three basic ingredients, they are also completely customizable with your favorite pizza toppings. Quick, simple, inexpensive and delicious!

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 8 small tortillas, corn or flour
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, or other shredded cheese

Instructions
 

  • Lay the tortillas on a parchment-lined baking sheet (if cooking with another method see instructions below). Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce onto each tortilla. Sprinkle evenly with ¼ cup of mozzarella cheese. Add toppings if desired.
  • Bake in the oven preheated to 400°F for 5-7 minutes, or until cheese begins to turn golden brown. Remove baking sheet from the oven and let pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
  • Skillet/Frying Pan: Prepare tortillas as instructed above. Heat an oiled pan on medium-high heat, then add the tortilla pizza to the pan. Cook over medium heat until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese has melted, about 3 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
  • Air Fryer/Toaster: Prepare tortillas as instructed above. In batches, place into the air fryer basket or on the toaster tray. Cook for 3-5 minutes at 375°F, or until cheese turns golden brown. Remove carefully using a spatula and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
